Happy Village believes it takes a village to make a healthy community
Our Mission is to provide the ethnic and economically diverse populations of Koreatown with awareness and opportunities for healthy living.
Happy Village was developed as a way to give back to the Korean-American population that had helped make The Korea Daily a vital part of Korean American society for over 40 years.
Happy Village was initially started to benefit Korean communities in 2010.
Since then, we have widened our scope to provide services, goods and financial support for the diverse population that makes up Koreatown. We have been focusing to foster a deeper sense of harmony within our local community.
Our primary goal is to connect low-income individuals and others in need with education and resources.
Happy Village does not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status, in any of its activities or operations. These activities include, but are not limited to, hiring and firing of staff, selection of volunteers and vendors, and provision of services. We are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all members of our staff, clients, volunteers, subcontractors, vendors, and clients
